Wirex, the global stablecoin infrastructure platform, has achieved more than $2 billion in annualised onchain card spend volume on Wirex Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), doubling its volume over the past 110 days. This follows Wirex becoming the fastest growing stablecoin infrastructure provider in April, having reached our first $1 billion annualised volume in 131 days.
Why Has Demand for Stablecoins Grown?
Demand for embedded stablecoin functionality has grown exponentially, with adjusted annual stablecoin settlement volume reaching more than $10 trillion, up 63% year-on-year. Building that capability in-house requires regulatory authorisation, card network membership, and proven settlement infrastructure, and Wirex BaaS was created to remove those barriers.
Wirex BaaS has partnered with over 70 clients since launch in November 2025, including BingX, Barca Mobile, Send, Lobstr Wallet, Cardano, COCA, Folks Finance, Kolo, GoMining, uTorg, Sophon, with 15+ new partners being signed every month. As the only solution to offer a complete financial stack on stablecoin rails through a single integration, including card issuance, corporate IBANs, 1:1 fiat–stablecoin conversion, cross-border payouts, push-to-card payments, yield, and real-time settlement, it enables firms to scale their product-suite while retaining the usability and familiarity of traditional banking, without having to integrate across multiple providers.
What Does the Data Show About Wirex BaaS?
According to PaymentScan, Wirex BaaS has recorded:
Annualised card spend volume reaching over $2 billion annualised in July
Card spend volume growing 28% month-on-month
Over 7 million stablecoin card purchases processed onchain during the last 6 months
What Does the Data Show About the Industry?
"The data proves how rapidly the global financial industry is transforming, and Wirex BaaS’ growing demand reflects that shift. With more than a decade of experience delivering digital asset services, and as one of the few crypto-native platforms to hold both Visa and Mastercard principal membership, we’ve built the regulatory foundation and technical infrastructure that platforms require. Businesses are no longer asking whether to build on stablecoin rails, but who to build with, and Wirex BaaS has become the category-leader to do this,” said Pavel Matveev, Wirex’s Group CEO and Co-Founder.
Today’s announcement follows Wirex’s inclusion in Delphi Digital's Framework for Crypto Neobanks, which named Wirex BaaS as one of only three full-stack issuers globally. The report identifies full-stack issuers, which connect stablecoin rails to the existing financial system, and the model most likely to endure as the market consolidates.
Later this month, Wirex will extend its BaaS offering with an additional highly-demanded product built on stablecoin rails, available through the same single integration.

Its appeal comes from the combination of immediate accessibility Doodle Jump and gradually increasing difficulty.
