Wirex to Host New Stablecoin Infrastructure Conference, Full Stack London

The one-day, closed-door event will bring together 200 founders, CEOs and technical builders to look at what it takes to make stablecoins work in payments
Wirex, the global stablecoin infrastructure provider, will host Full Stack London, a new stablecoin infrastructure conference, on Thursday 12th November 2026 at Ham Yard Hotel, London. The closed-door event will bring together founders, CEOs and technical builders from payments, fintech and digital assets turning stablecoin strategies into commercially viable products.
Taking place the day after Digital Asset Summit (DAS), Full Stack London is designed as a practical follow-on. The programme covers the business models and plumbing behind stablecoins: how they fit into an existing payments stack, how they become spendable in everyday life, and what stops more businesses from using them.
Leading speakers from different layers of the financial stack will share their perspectives, including Lord Kulveer Ranger, UK House of Lords Member & Chair of the Digital Policy Alliance; Kamran Shahin, VP, Product Management, Digital Assets & Payment Systems at Mastercard; Julian Sawyer, former COO of Starling Bank & former CEO of Bitstamp; Nika Naghavi, Senior Director of Product Partnerships at Circle; and Alexandra Kugusheva, GTM Lead at Morpho. Sessions and roundtables include “Why BaaS Providers Go Bust”, “Who Goes to Jail When the Agent Does It?”, a fireside chat on “The AML Model Was Built for Humans”, and a deeper look into what the UK is doing to attract stablecoin businesses compare to regulations in the EU and US.
The event comes as competition grows across every layer of the stablecoin stack, with Mastercard recently acquiring London-based BVNK for $1.8 billion, and Circle’s payments-focused blockchain, Arc, going live last month with Blackrock as a validator, whilst crypto card spending passed $1.2 billion in September.
“Card spending on stablecoins has roughly tripled in a year, and almost every major payments company is now taking a position somewhere in the stack,” said Pavel Matveev, CEO and Co-Founder of Wirex. “Most businesses have accepted that stablecoins matter. The harder part is making them work across cards, compliance and customer experience, and Full Stack London is for the teams doing that work.”
He continued: “London is the right place to have that conversation. The FCA has finalised its crypto rules and opened its authorisation regime, and the Bank of England dropped its proposed limits on stablecoins that people and businesses can hold. Firms now have a clear route to build here, and as a company that has been headquartered in London for more than a decade, we want to help them use stablecoins.”
The launch of Wirex’s inaugural Full Stack London comes as Wirex’s infrastructure now processes more than $200 million in spend a month, publicly verifiable on paymentscan.xyz.

Great to see Wirex bringing founders, issuers and card networks into one room in London. The point that the hard part is making stablecoins work across cards, compliance and customer experience rings true, and clearer FCA rules plus the Bank of England dropping holding limits should help teams actually ship. Curious what comes out of the November sessions. Off topic, but for anyone who tinkers with Minecraft on mobile, PojavLauncher has been a solid free launcher for Java Edition.
